Oh, Gretchen! Please tell me about these photos! The china - it's the same pattern my Mother had! Are the "Esthers" communicating with one another? I'm assuming the beautiful lady with the beautiful smile is your Mother? If so, you look so much like her. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving - was the cozy fire a part of it? xxoo - H.

Helaire- The Spode was the china my mother collected over the years, and now belongs to me. What a delightful coincidence! We actually ate on it yesterday, at my parent's old house we are selling. Tom made the cozy fire, although it doesn't show up well, here. The photo is of my mother. Thank you for seeing the resemblance, as I was always told I look more like my father! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Look forward to seeing you soon! xo, G.

Gretchen, I just can't believe the two Esthers had the same china. I have often wished we had kept it when we closed up her house. It was good to see it on your blog. It brings back many, many wonderful memories.

Roberta- Isn't it amazing? What are the odds of it? I grow more fond of it as years pass. Glad to rekindle happy memories.
