Really nice and peaceful.

What a beautiful patchwork tent! It must be so lovely to be inside and hear the crickets and otherwise enjoy silence and the feeling of being part of the great outdoors. Enjoy!

M- You should check out Saskia's link to see her other work. (especially her door photographs...). I would love to create a tent like this out of all the clothing my mother made me throughout the years... I think it would be quite magical!

My mother made me a quilt from the remnants of all the clothes she had made for me as a child, and just seeing those squares brings back such vivid memories. (Remember that song by Dolly Parton, The Coat of Many Colors?) I'm glad that you visited my blog today, and that it made you want to go outdoors! It's time . . ., Margaret

Hey, Gretchen!
How are you doing, friend?
I'm wondering something...
Because I'm following your blog, many of your posts show up on my dashboard, however when I show up here to read them, they say they don't exist. Are you being sneaky and hiding them from me? :)

Can one do that? (I haven't figured out how to do that, yet... but don't worry; I would never block you from my blog!) Blogger is funny sometimes. I am doing well, loving Spring, busy working on a project... Hope you are well, too!

This is a really lovely idea! I would love to see your take on it. :) Keep me posted.

Good to hear your voice. TTFN. :)

Love,

amazing space. I don't know if I have told you but I have a typewriter that was your Mom's. After she passed my parents went over to the house and picked a few things for me out of the pile of objects that were going to be donated that no one wanted. I have a blue typewriter that I use frequently, a big fake ruby broche that I wear in my hair, and some beautiful old cards and paper cut outs. Your Mom was always so sweet and special to me. I thought you might like to know that I have a little piece of her memory here in the forest of Indiana.
